Mezzanine Floor or Multi Tier Racking

Mezzanine Floor is also called multi tier racking. Normally it can be 2 tiers or 3 tiers, it’s mainly used for small cargo, suitable for various kinds of cargo, the cargo is load/unload by man power.

Usually use forklift or lift platform to lift the cargo into upstairs. Then use cart or pallet truck to move them. Such system is mainly use longspan shelving or heavy duty pallet racking as the support for steel floor. Usually we can use cold rolled steel or steel grating for the floor.

The vantages are good load capacity, evenly distributed loading, accurate, and easy to lock.

Usually the unit load is less than 500kg, the spacing from different floor is 2.2 – 2.7m

Such system is mainly used for auto parts, 4S shop, electronic and so on.

Steel platform consist of column, main beam, sub beam, steel floor, stair case and handrail. It can be used together with pallet racking in warehouse.

 

Steel platform is assembled as a whole, the normal loading capacity is 300kg-1000kg/square meters. The capacity of upright post is very strong. We can use 104-165 steel pipe for light duty. For heavy duty, we can use H steel. Usually we can use H steel or C steel, use cold rolled steel for floor or steel planket. Usually we use locking parts to lock main beam and sub beam. Thus the strength of platform can be increased.

 

Customer can use lighting sustem under floor, can use lift platform, stair case or forklift to lift cargo. All the material is high strength carbon steel, automatically powder coating unti rusty. It’s widely used in various of industry.

Mezzanine floor to build up a special mezzanine in the working place or existing racking system, it is to increase storage capacity. Usually the mezzanine floor is with 2 tiers or 3 tiers. That’s why mezzanine floor is also called multi tier racking, it’s mainly for some light and small cargo, which is suitable for mass kinds of cargo handled by manpower.
