Mezzanine Floor is also called multi tier racking. Normally it can be 2 tiers or 3 tiers, it’s mainly used for small cargo, suitable for various kinds of cargo, the cargo is load/unload by man power.
Usually use forklift or lift platform to lift the cargo into upstairs. Then use cart or pallet truck to move them. Such system is mainly use longspan shelving or heavy duty pallet racking as the support for steel floor. Usually we can use cold rolled steel or steel grating for the floor.
The vantages are good load capacity, evenly distributed loading, accurate, and easy to lock.
Usually the unit load is less than 500kg, the spacing from different floor is 2.2 – 2.7m
Such system is mainly used for auto parts, 4S shop, electronic and so on.
